Walter and I corresponded when I was a photographer. He excelled at the photography of architecture and his landscapes were great too. In one of his favourite phrases, "May eternal light shine upon him"--and light his monochrome landscapes with that soft luminescence his technical ability was able to elicit. Joel, if you hear about the bushfire in Western Australia. It is in a major food growing area very close to CBD. Our government has been passing laws, like the Cultural Heritage and Voice to parliament. Anything to make private land ownership impossible.
